Inspirational former Yorkshire Regiment Corporal, Andy Reid, who lost both legs and an arm whilst serving in Afghanistan, signed copies of his book 'Standing Tall' at the Saints Superstore.
From www.giantsrl.com:

In October 2009, whilst on patrol with 3rd  Battalion - The Yorkshire Regiment in Afghanistan, Andy stood on a pressure plate IED.  As a result of the explosion, he lost his right leg below the knee, left leg above the knee, and right arm.

After being flown back to the UK, Andy astounded people with his recovery by spending just two weeks in hospital and he went on to win The Sun's Millie Award for Overcoming Adversity in 2010.

After serving 15 years with the Yorkshire Regiment, Andy was medically discharged from the Army in July 2012. Despite his injuries, Andy has chosen a new path in life and is now dedicated to fund-raising and motivational speaking to help inspire people from all walks of life.

Andy said: "I believe it's all about education. People need to learn what it is like for serving soldiers on the front line, but more importantly people need to learn about our lives after our service is up. A large number of Soldiers complete their service in one piece, I was not so fortunate.

"I hope that my story of overcoming adversity and the daily challenges I have faced and continue to do so will give you the inspiration needed to give you that extra 10% when you're facing your challenges and hurdles in your daily life."
