Liverpool fan Grant described how he had You'll Never Walk Alone tattooed on his right leg before it was amputated just below the knee, taking off the last word.

The Glasgow youths being mentored through rugby by Will Greenwood and Scott Quinnell for Sky Sports' School of Hard Knocks series, were given an inspirational talk by Royal Marine Andy Grant, seriously injured by a trip-wire blast in Afghanistan.

Liverpool fan Grant described how he had You'll Never Walk Alone tattooed on his right leg before it was amputated just below the knee, taking off the last word.

But You'll Never Walk has not proved the  case, following Grant's remarkable recovery from 27 separate injuries.

We are lucky to have had a huge range of inspirational people visit Hard Knocks courses - but Andy Grant is, for me, in a class of his own.  Ever since I first saw him, I have been deeply impressed by his humility, strength and character.  I thought it was hugely significant that Will and Scott, who have both encountered numerous motivational speakers in their careers, were so obviously moved by what he had to say.  The comments of the boys speak for themselves.
