Vets take a trip down memory lane

 

Veterans took a trip down memory lane at their annual ball. The Marriott Hotel was decked out like a scene from the Second World War, complete with fighter planes hanging from the ceiling and an air raid shelter entrance.

Guest speaker at this year's event was retired British Army Colonel, Tim Collins.

Governor Helen Kilpatrick along with Police Commissioner David Baines were also in attendance.

Proceeds from the ball go toward helping those who fought in conflicts all over the world in the past
