James Glancy is a British adventure sportsman, historian and environmentalist who's work has seen him travel to some of the most remote parts of the world. James served for 10 years as an officer in the elite Royal Marines Commandos, serving on deployments around the world, including three combat tours of Afghanistan. In 2012 he was awarded the prestigious Conspicuous Gallantry Cross for leadership and bravery on the frontline. James is a passionate about the natural word and history as a former Oxford historian, and regularly combines these interests on his travels and overseas expeditions. James is also CEO of the international security risk management company and Fellow of the Royal Geographical Society, AnotherDay. James is now in planning for his next adventure.
